I started my medical career as a CNA on a dementia unit during college. I began my nursing career on a neuro step-down unit then transferred to the Trauma Neuro ICU. My husband and I have 2 cats (Aragorn and Gimli) and 2 dogs (Stevie and Captain) that we adopted together. He and I visit West Virginia any chance we get (especially the Cranberry Glades) and have Lord of the Rings marathons twice a year.
